| FAQ - Using UltraPlayer
Viewing and Editing File (Tag) Information I want to edit the file information for a music file, but UltraPlayer tells me that I cannot edit this file's information. Why not?UltraPlayer currently only supports the editing of MP3, MP2, and MP1 file information. If your file is in WMA, WAV, CDA, etc. format you will not be able to edit the file information with UltraPlayer. If your file is an MP3, MP2, or MP1 file, then one of two things is preventing UltraPlayer from editing the file information. Is UltraPlayer or another application currently playing the file? If so, stop the playback and you should be able to edit the file. If the file is not being played, it may be set as a "read-only" file. To check this and make the file editable, follow these steps:
